A brand new community event is coming to Addingham with giant inflatable, ridiculous games, competitive challenges and non-stop laughs.
The Friends of Addingham Primary School have announced a fun 'It's A Knockout Day 2026' on 16 May, which is open to anyone aged 14 and over.
Organisers say "A bit like Total Wipeout meets Gladiators… but for normal people!" With games including Foam Pit, Beat the Cube, Teletubby Challenge, Cannon Run and Penguin Assault Course Final.
Teams of parents, friends or businesses are encouraged to sign up, or join as an individual and you'll be teamed up.
The event is raising money for new Chromebooks for the Addingham Primary School.
A spokesperson said:
"Fancy dress is highly recommended, the best dressed teams always steal the show.
"A little twist, you can actually take part for free, if you buy a ticket, setup a JustGiving page and raise £25 - you're ticket will be refunded."
Anyone is welcome to take part and raise money for their own cause or charity instead.

Further information and tickets are available from https://www.tickettailor.com/events/friendsofaddinghamprimaryschool/2137263
If you sign up before 8 May and use code EarlyBird20 to get 20% off tickets.
'It's A Knockout Day' will be over two half on Saturday 16 May and start with the all important safety briefing at 12.30pm.
The spokesperson added:
"It should be a really fun, feel-good day and we’d love to see lots Ilkley, Wharfedale and Craven teams there."
