Have a wander around Burley-in-Wharfedale as the village Summer Festival starts this weekend.
This year there are even more reasons to have a wander around the village during Festival week -16th -25th August.
In addition to the nearly 70 Scarecrows displayed for your amusement for the whole week, there is also a Garage Sale Trail on Saturday 23rd August with over 40 residents displaying lots of interesting bargains for you to buy!
To find out more about both these trails pick up a Scarecrow and Garage Sale Trail map from the Roundhouse in Burley Park open from 10am to 4pm from the 16th-23rd August.
In addition to these events Burley will be a hive of activity all week with walks, talks, workshops and music events for the adults plus circus skills, drumming, dancing and games for children. Find out more online at www.burleysummerfestival.co.uk
Plus don’t miss the fabulous opening weekend - 16th and 17th August - which includes a Fun Dog Show, Classic Vehicle Show, Craft Fair and fantastic Food and Drink Market with local voluntary organisations organising activities in the park, plus a wellness hub for all health and wellbeing related advice and taster sessions.
Visit Burley for a wander around and more - with something for everyone going on all week!
