The West Yorkshire Police local Neighbourhood Policing Team [NPT] have issued a warning to residents following a series of shed and garage burglaries in both Ilkley and Addingham.
Over the past week there have been six reported break ins.
Police say the two suspects appear to be using a small white car to get around, possibly an Audi or a Citroen.
Following a call on Saturday night, a white vehicle was stopped and searched but couldn't be linked to any offences
Shaun Taylor, Keighley NPT PCSO said:
"As always with these messages they are not intended to scare but to make the public aware of what is going on in the area, which experience shows is more likely to generate that early call which gives the police a better chance of getting the right result and property back to its owner."
Police ask residents to report anything suspicious straight away.
