Runners are being invited to take on the scenic surroundings of the Bolton Abbey Estate when a popular charity event returns next month.
Run Bolton Abbey will take place on Sunday 8th November, raising money for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
The event offers a choice of distances to suit different abilities, from those looking for a less challenging run to experienced runners accustomed to tackling longer routes across the local fells.
Some of the longer routes will also give participants access to areas of the Bolton Abbey Estate which are not normally open to the public.
Bolton Abbey said they were pleased to once again work alongside Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice to stage the event.
This year's finishers will also receive a distinctive souvenir, with medals made from silver birch trees gathered from the estate.
Money raised will support the work of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, which provides palliative care and support for people living with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Run Bolton Abbey takes place on Sunday 8th November, with registration and further information available through the Bolton Abbey website.
