Ilkley Musical Theatre Society (IMTS) is presenting West Side Story at the King’s Hall, Ilkley from 13th to 16th November 2024.
West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time and the IMTS cast of around 30, is comprised entirely of teenagers, aged between 12 and 19, all from the local area.
A spokesperson for IMTS said:
“It is so important that we encourage this type of extra-curricular activity for young people. It changes lives for the better and offers a positive reinforcement of skills for the future.
“Let’s fill the auditorium and show some appreciation for all the hard work and talent on show.
“West Side Story is a timeless story of prejudice, revenge, love, disaster and reconciliation. It will test all your emotions, so come, see for yourself.”
Performance times are 7.15pm Wednesday to Friday, and 1.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday.
