Ryder Cup-winning captain Thomas Bjørn hosts the fifth Yorkshire Invitational at Ilkley Golf Course on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th August.
Leeds Rhinos hero Danny McGuire, Leeds United legend Gary McAllister, and Olympic bronze medal-winning gymnast Nile Wilson from Leeds are among the sporting celebrities who will take part. Roger Chapman, Stephen Dodd, David Lynn, Fraser Mann, and Carly Booth are among the professional golfers participating.
As well as attracting well-known golfers and celebrities, the Yorkshire Invitational offers a fantastic opportunity for business figures to connect and network in a stunning environment. The Pro-Am has proven to be a fantastic opportunity for businesses to offer corporate incentives and team-building days, with unique sponsorship options including five hole-in-one competitions to win as much as £5,000 each.

A spokesperson for organisers SGH Events said:
"There are food stalls, cocktails, draught gin, and beer available from fantastic Yorkshire-based companies that spectators can enjoy. Lamborghini and McLaren cars will also be displayed for motorsport aficionados, while Thomas Bjørn will host a Q&A about his illustrious career at the top of the game. Fans can also watch our trick shot expert display his skills and encourage on-course amateurs as they attempt to beat the pro in a separate competition."
The Yorkshire Invitational began in 2020 despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic. The day consists of 50 teams competing in a Pro-Am on the Tuesday, where one professional and three amateurs play as a team. The two best scores on each hole count towards the team’s overall score. On the Wednesday, the Alliance tournament sees two professionals and two amateurs play in pairs.
Admission is free for those wanting to attend, go to Eventbrite to register your interest and book your tickets.
