Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group has unveiled its calendar of colourful and inclusive events for Pride Month 2025, bringing together the local community in celebration of equality, visibility, and love.
Events have something for everyone – from family-friendly activities to lively nightlife – the programme showcases Ilkley's commitment to diversity and unity, and highlights include:
Saturday 31st May – Pride Launch Social
Kick off Pride Month in style at the Midland Hotel with a fun-filled evening featuring a DJ, karaoke, and raffle. The event begins at 7:30pm and continues late into the night, with Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group encouraging everyone to “show up and show your pride”.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be able to support Ilkley’s LGBT+ community, not just during the Pride Month of June, but all year round. Everyone should feel safe, especially when trying to enjoy a night out so we’re working hard to ensure The Midland is recognised as a safe space for everyone to come together and celebrate who they are!”
Sunday 1st June – Sunday 29th June – Lounge Aid
The team at Vitello Lounge on Brook Street have organised a month of Pride themed fundraising activities to help raise funds for local LGBT+ projects. From bake sales and quiz nights to a sponsored walk and a Sip & Paint session, there’s something for everyone during Pride Month at Vitello Lounge.

Friday 13th June - Foley Films presents 'Pride'
Foley Films at the Clarke Foley Community Hub, in partnership with Ilkley Pride brings you a special showing of the film "Pride" as part of Pride Month. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite.

Sunday 15th June – Pride Rugby League Match
Join both Ilkley & Keighley Pride at the Keighley Cougars Ground for an action-packed Pride themed Rugby League Match. It’s certain to be a great day with gates open, entertainment and stalls from 2:00pm then kick-off at 3:00pm plus a party afterwards! Sunday 22nd June – Family Walk & Picnic
Relax and connect with others at the group’s family friendly walk and picnic. Meet at 2:00pm at the Brook Street fountain for a gentle stroll along the riverside and a picnic (weather permitting) – perfect for all ages.

Saturday 28th June – Ilkley Pride Day
The main event begins at 12 noon with a flag-raising ceremony on Brook Street, led by the Town Mayor. A community walk to the Winter Garden and King’s Hall follows, where the celebration continues with a family-friendly Pride Festival from 12:30pm to 10:30pm. Expect live entertainment, vibrant stalls, food, and fun for everyone. Tickets are on sale now on Eventbrite.

Friday 4th July – Pink Pony Club Night
In a first for Ilkley, The Yard Bar are hosting a fabulous night of dancing and queer joy in the form of a Pink Pony Club Night, starting at 7:30pm.
Friday 11th July – Ilkley Live
Cap off the 2025 Pride Season with an inspiring showcase of young Pride performers as part of Ilkley Live at The Midland Hotel. Celebrate local talent and the next generation of LGBTQ+ voices in music and performance.
