A regular for ten years at Real Markets in Ilkley, Wharfedale Fine Cheeses has announced plans to open a shop on Church Street in Ilkley.
The business is going through the legal process to takeover the lease of the unit vacated at the start of the year by The Ilkley Thingery.
Jeremy from Wharfedale Fine Cheeses was part of the original Real Food Ilkley [as it was known in 2016] team.
Announcing the news on Facebook, Jeremy said:
"Can you believe it is 10 years since we launched the Real Food Market in Ilkley Neither can we and we'll be forever grateful to Paula who's brainchild it was to do this.
"Since then we have seen lots of changes including the location as we moved from the area behind the Black Hat onto The Grove. We have seen many more venues and dates added to the Real Markets portfolio and indeed we have seen many traders across the last 10 years and it's been wonderful to see so many thrive and grow."For us personally, we are now taking a leap into the next level of our journey and some of you may know and some may not, we are currently going through all the legals etc to take over the lease of 10 Church St, Ilkley (what was The Ilkley Thingery and next door to Avalons Pizza).
"Our plan is to be in there and open from mid April should everything go to plan - this will not stop us attending Real Markets on The 1st Sunday at Ilkley."
