After ten weeks of delays on Skipton Road in Ilkley already this year, motorists face further disruption from Monday as Yorkshire Water start new 'major water work' on the same stretch of the A65.
The works, which are expected to take five to six weeks, are to connect the new housing development to its network.
During this time two-way temporary lights will be in use and the Victoria Avenue junction with A65 will be closed.
These works follow ten weeks of roadworks on the same stretch of Skipton Road to connect the development to the sewer. Residents asked at the time why both sets of works couldn't be completed at the same time.
Yorkshire Water says:
'We know roadworks can be disruptive - thank you for bearing with us while we work.'
