Ilkley Grammar School [IGS] brings its popular musical showcase back to the King’s Hall on Friday 7th November 2025, presenting an evening of diverse performances by talented students.
The programme will feature rock bands, choirs, jazz, musical theatre and classical pieces, offering something for every music lover, while raising funds for the Friends of King’s Hall & Winter Garden Charity (FOKH).
The event highlights include the IGS Battle of the Bands, the Pop Choir, the Jazz Band and solo and ensemble performances across multiple styles. Students from across the school will perform on the historic King’s Hall stage, demonstrating the breadth and depth of musical education at Ilkley Grammar School.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support FOKH’s ongoing work preserving and updating the King’s Hall and Winter Garden for the local community.
“We are very excited about this year’s event, shining the spotlight on our talented local young people,”
said Rachel Dennison of the Friends of King’s Hall & Winter Garden Charity.
“Hopefully it will be another great success and a wonderful night for families and music fans alike.”
The showcase provides an important platform for young musicians to gain live performance experience on a professional stage, and to celebrate the creative achievements of the school.

Tickets are available through Bradford Theatres’ website at www.bradford-theatres.co.uk and open to everyone, whether you have a family member at IGS or not.
The Friends of King’s Hall & Winter Garden is a charity dedicated to preserving, promoting and enhancing the King’s Hall and Winter Garden as a cultural hub for Ilkley and the wider region.
