Ladies of all ages are invited to join the Ilkley Soroptimists for an empowering and practical day dedicated to safety and well-being.
Celebrating International Women’s Day, the event is being held on Saturday 7th March at St John’s Church Hall in Ben Rhydding.
It will include a chance to learn the latest on CPR, watch or take part in self-defence and hear tips and advice about staying safe online.
The schedule is:
10:00am: Checking out the latest on CPR – life-saving skills everyone should know.
11:30am: Self-Defence Skills – watch a demonstration or join in to practice some practical moves.
1:30pm: Online Safety – stay one step ahead and learn how to protect yourself in the digital world.
A spokesperson said:
"Whether you want to drop in for a specific session or stay for the whole day, everyone is welcome! Celebrate International Women’s Day by investing in your confidence and safety."
Tea and coffee will be provided and attendees are welcome to take their own packed lunch.
