Businesses in Ilkley could receive grants of up to £4,500 to replace older petrol and diesel.
This is under a new scheme launched by Bradford Council.
The £2million funding programme aims to help local tradespeople, sole traders and small businesses switch to electric or zero-emission vehicles.
Eligible businesses can apply for financial support towards replacing light-duty commercial vehicles, including vans used for everyday operations.
Grants of up to £4,500 per vehicle are available, with funding able to contribute towards leasing, finance, charging equipment, maintenance and other associated costs.
The scheme could benefit a range of Ilkley businesses, particularly those that rely on commercial vehicles for deliveries, maintenance work and other services.
Bradford Council hopes the funding will encourage more businesses to make the switch to cleaner vehicles while helping to reduce the financial cost of doing so.
Funding is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis.
Businesses interested in applying are encouraged to check their eligibility through the Bradford Council website, where further information about the scheme and available support can be found.
