The date has been announced for Ilkley's Macmillan Fashion Show, which will return in April 2027.
The charity event will take place at All Saints Church in Ilkley on Thursday 29th April, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organisers have confirmed the date while thanking the volunteers, models and supporters who have helped make the event possible over the years.
The show moved to a smaller venue in April 2026, resulting in changes to its format and a reduction in the number of models and helpers who could take part.
Organisers have acknowledged that some previous participants were unable to return and apologised for not communicating the changes at the time.
In a statement, they said:
“To those who had previously taken part and did not hear from us, we are sorry that we did not explain the changes at the time.
"Amid the planning, that communication was overlooked, and we understand the disappointment this caused.”
They also thanked everyone who has contributed to the event's fundraising efforts.
The statement continued:
“Please know that your past contributions remain very much appreciated.
"The show has been shaped by the generosity, enthusiasm and commitment of so many people, and we are grateful to every participant, volunteer, guest and supporter who has helped us raise funds for Macmillan.”
The 2027 fashion show will once again support Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer.
Further details about the event, including ticket information, have yet to be announced.
