There's a great line up of music and chat coming to the King's Hall in Ilkley with the likes of John Lydon and Craig Revel Horwood.
Something About George – The George Harrison Story, the musical biopic tribute about the so-called “quiet” Beatle returns to Ilkley next month.
Featuring a five-piece band performing beautiful songs such as My Sweet Lord, Something, Got My Mind Set On You and Handle With Care, the show includes incredible solo material and music from one of rock n’ roll’s greatest supergroups, The Travelling Wilburys - not forgetting more than a few Beatles’ classics along the way.
Starring West End actor and musician Daniel Taylor, Something About George – The George Harrison Story tells the truly remarkable tale of one of music’s most understated icons at King’s Hall on Thursday 5 February.
An Evening with John Lydon is on Monday 2 March. Join John Lydon - aka Johnny Rotten as he talks about how he sees life, along with his unique and extraordinary career. The front man and lyricist of the Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd (PiL) caused a political earthquake and transformed music for good.
Imagine Lennon is an unforgettable and intimate evening celebrating the legacy of John Lennon, brought to life by the internationally acclaimed Tyson Kelly – renowned for his striking portrayal of Lennon in Broadway’s Let It Be and in the UK and World’s #1 Beatles Tribute The Bootleg Beatles for seven years.
This captivating production is a sophisticated homage to one of music’s most enduring icons. Imagine Lennon is on Thursday 9 April.
You may have encountered the dynamic personality of Huey Morgan in many ways. Frontman, radio and television broadcaster, author and DJ, Huey is many things at once. Coming to prominence as the frontman and driving force of the eclectic American Rap/Rock outfit Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Morgan led the band from 1993 - 2021. Best known for the hit record Scooby Snacks, Fun Lovin’ Criminals released six albums between 1996 and 2010 and sold over 10 million records.
Now he’s heading out on a solo tour – mixing music and chat - so fans can get up close and personal with Huey Morgan - The Fun Lovin' Criminal at to King’s Hall on Tuesday 21 April.
National treasure Craig Revel Horwood is coming to Ilkley on Tuesday 28 April with his show Revelations - Songs Boys Don’t Sing.
After starting as a dancer, he worked on the nation's biggest musicals and become a choreographer, director and best-selling author. Craig is also a remarkable singer, and to celebrate the release of his debut solo album, Revelations, he’s on the road with an evening of music, dance, drama, and song.
Expect a Fab-U-Lous night of big songs, tall tales, and glamour - and, yes, there’ll be tales from the Strictly Come Dancing set.
For whose who want a laugh, also coming to the King's Hall over the coming months, Jimeoin brings his Pandemonium show [4 March], Justin Moorhouse returns with The Greatest Performance of My Life [14 March} and Geoff Norcott stops off with his tour Basic Bloke 2 – There’s No Bloke Without Fire [4 April].
