The Clarke Foley Community Hub Danceathon took place over the weekend and was a resounding success, with a fantastic turnout and a weekend full of energy, laughter, and dance!
Anna Clewlow, Marketing Coordinator, said:
"The whole team at the Hub would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took time out to join as well as donate to help secure the future of the Hub. Special gratitude goes to Lionne Roper-Hird from Cosmos Flowers, whose dedication and music choices kept everyone dancing well into the night!"
"We’re grateful as well to all the amazing dance instructors who generously took time out of their schedules to lead and energise our dancers throughout the event. Their enthusiasm brought a fresh, fun element to each moment and made the night memorable for all."
"Big thank you to Ceroc Yorkshire, our Saturday dance team, Your Ilkley Radio, DJ Shivering Goat, Ilkley Yoga Centre, Emma Draper Fitness in Addingham and Ilkley, GB Silver Swans, Inspirations Dance and Joze School of Dance."
"It was wonderful to see so many new faces in the Clarke Foley Hub this weekend, which was one of our primary goals—alongside fundraising.
"Despite the half-term timing and the extra hour from the clocks going back, the support and turnout have propelled us well over halfway to our £1,000 fundraising goal! There’s still time to donate, so let’s keep the momentum going to reach the target.
"Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to this fantastic event."
