Following the success of last year’s ‘Food & Drink Fortnight’, Ilkley Business Improvement District (BID) has announced the launch of a whole ‘Food & Drink Month’, running until 5 February 2026.
The initiative builds on the successful campaign introduced in 2025 to showcase Ilkley’s outstanding range of cafés, bars and restaurants, while providing vital support to the town’s hospitality businesses during January and early February; traditionally one of the most challenging periods for the sector following the busy Christmas trading season.
Throughout the month, Ilkley BID will work closely with local hospitality venues to promote a wide range of special offers and discounts. All participating businesses and their offers will be featured on a dedicated page on the Discover Ilkley website and promoted across Discover Ilkley’s marketing channels and social media platforms for the duration of the campaign.
In addition, Ilkley BID has once again collaborated with the popular Yorkshire Food Guide to spotlight five local hospitality venues and their food offerings to its large and engaged social media audience. The 2025 campaign generated over 80,000 views for the selected businesses. This year’s featured venues are New Brook Street Deli, The Vine, Galo’s Kitchen, Friends of Ham, and Vitello Lounge.

Sarah Brookfield-Almond, Ilkley BID Manager, said:
“Ilkley is incredibly lucky to have such a great range of food and drink venues, with some brilliant deals on offer for food lovers in January. We want to encourage residents and visitors to explore the town and support local businesses during what can be a difficult post-Christmas period, especially with bad weather forecast for the month. Supporting our hospitality sector has never been more important, and by getting behind our local businesses we can help keep Ilkley and its economy thriving.”
