Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Ilkley.
Roads policing officers were called to Westwood Drive, Ilkley at 11.21am today (16 February) to a report of a road traffic collision.
Emergency services attended the scene at which a green Lotus Eletre Sport had come off the carriageway and crashed into heavy foliage.
The car had been travelling west from the direction of Wells Road when the collision occurred.
The driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A road closure was put in place at the location while investigation and recovery work was carried out.
