Channel 4 is appealing for people in Yorkshire to take part in the next series of The Dog House.
The broadcaster’s BAFTA-nominated programme, The Dog House, is casting across the region for individuals, couples and families who are considering adopting a rescue dog.
Produced for Channel 4, the series first aired in 2019 and follows prospective owners as they meet dogs in need of homes.
Filming takes place at Woodgreen Pets Charity, where staff work to match animals with suitable adopters.

The call-out comes amid continued pressure on animal welfare organisations.
A spokesperson for the show said:
“Across the UK, rescue centres are under enormous pressure.
“Last year alone, more than 47,000 people contacted Dogs Trust about giving up their dogs, and the RSPCA reports that the number of dogs in their care has doubled since 2020.
“Unfortunately, local shelters are experiencing the same strain.
“But despite the challenges, there is no shortage of dog lovers and 86% of dog owners report being physically healthier and having improved mental wellbeing.
“The series aims to celebrate these positive changes while helping dogs in need find loving homes.”
Producers say the programme aims to document the adoption process and the realities of welcoming a rescue animal into a home, while helping dogs find permanent placements.
Anyone in Yorkshire who is interested in adopting a rescue dog and would like to take part can apply at c4thedoghousetakepart.co.uk or email thedoghouse@fivemilefilms.co.uk.
