The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and strong winds in our area today (Thursday).
The warning for rain will be in place from 3pm until 6pm, whilst the Met Office is also warning of strong winds from 3pm until 3am tomorrow morning.
The warning says there may be some disruption to travel - particularly bus and train services.
It also says there may be a “small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded” and a slight chance of power cuts.
