The pre-school received the rating under the new rating system.
The rating is part of Ofsted’s new inspection framework and is given to providers judged to be working above the expected standards.
The new framework rates schools by whether they are:
- Exceptional
- Strong Standard
- Expected Standard
- Needs Attention
- Urgent Improvement
Addingham Pre-School's rating was across all areas.
In the report, OFSTED commented on the students, saying:

"Their communication flourishes because staff model rich language, introduce new words with care and spark conversation throughout the day."
The school's welfare was also rated 'STRONG STANDARD', the report stated:
"For children with additional needs, leaders tailor routines carefully.
"Visuals, sensory supports and predictable sequences help every child feel secure, confident and ready to take part."
