An Ilkley care home is hoping to make a resident's 106th birthday extra special by collecting 106 birthday cards.
Eileen, who lives at Mayfield View Care Home on Lower Railway Road, will celebrate the remarkable milestone on Wednesday 23rd September.
Staff at the care home have launched an appeal to the local community, with the aim of receiving at least one card for every year of Eileen's life.
They said:
"We would love your support to help us get 106 birthday cards for her 106th birthday to make this truly special for her."

Anyone who would like to help Eileen celebrate can send a birthday card to Mayfield View Care Home, Lower Railway Road, Ilkley, LS29 8WH.
The care home is hoping people from across Ilkley and beyond will get behind the appeal ahead of Eileen's big day next month.
