Bradford Council to promote new food waste scheme in Ilkley

Connor will be available to speak to residents and provide information about the new scheme.

Ilkley residents will have the chance to find out more about Bradford Council’s new food waste recycling scheme during two visits this month.

Neighbourhood Warden Connor will bring the council’s distinctive green van to the town on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 28th October.

The visits are aimed at helping residents learn more about food waste recycling and how they can reduce the amount of waste they throw away.

Connor will be available to speak to residents and provide information about the new scheme, which is being introduced by Bradford Council.

The green van will be parked outside Ilkley Town Hall and in Ilkley’s central car park during the visits.

Residents are being encouraged to stop by to find out more about the changes and how they can contribute towards reducing waste and creating a cleaner and greener environment.
