Burley-in-Wharfedale Co-op relaunches following a six-week programme of improvements to ‘transform’ the Main Street store.
The new-look Co-op store – which supports 15 local jobs - re-opens with an enhanced range and choice designed to enhance the shopping experience, including the addition of Costa Coffee Express and enhanced fresh produce.
New refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range. This sits alongside a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; bakery; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; party food for the festive period; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.

Online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk - orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.
Parcel collection services are also available over the counter via Amazon and DPD.
David Diston, Co-op store manager, said:
“We are really enjoying welcoming the community back into their Co-op – the store looks great, the changes have been transformative and the feedback from our customers has been fantastic. The whole team is delighted to invest in Burley in Wharefdale. We are proud to be part of the community, and we have a focus on being a hub locally, delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone - we're here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support the community.”
Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, ready meals and sandwiches.
