Ilkley Harriers will host a special community run on Tuesday 28 October to support the #LetsLiftTheCurfew campaign.
The club says it's proud to stand behind this movement — raising awareness and promoting safer spaces for women to enjoy physical activity.
Ilkley Harrier invites local runners and community members to a sociable 5km run designed to raise awareness and promote an inclusive, safe activity for all.
Participants are asked to meet at 6:30 PM in the Ilkley Tennis Club bar for welcome and registration. Anyone interested in taking part is asked to email secretary@ilkleyharriers.org.uk
The one-off run will be led by a qualified Harriers coach and will follow a guided route through the streets of Ilkley at a friendly, approachable pace. Runners are asked to wear high-visibility clothing and bring a headtorch.
This event supports the national This Girl Can campaign, developed by Sport England, and aims to break down barriers that prevent women and girls from being active.
