Music Box – Inspiring Voices CIC is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a spectacular concert at King’s Hall in Ilkley.
The event will bring together more than 140 performers for what promises to be a joyful, heart-warming and wonderfully chaotic celebration of music, community and creativity.
Music Box – Inspiring Voices CIC are a community-based singing hub based in Baildon, specialising in building confidence through performance. After years of meeting in pub rooms and church halls, Music Box relocated to its own, accessible space to meet, rehearse and make music.
The concert on Wednesday 1st July will showcase performers of all ages and backgrounds, including current Music Box singers, past students, community choirs, professional artists and special guests.
Audiences can look forward to performances from Music Box Kids, Teens, Adults and Pros, Little Advocates Nursery Singers, The Silver Tones, Memory Lane Dementia Choir, SingMeanWood, Inspiration Dance, Solow Choir (Matt Dunwelll) professional artist Cherie Gears, Joe Reed & Ben Kellman and a host of former students returning to celebrate the organisation that helped shape their musical journeys.

More than just a concert, the evening is a celebration of the incredible Music Box family and the power of music to bring people together.
Melody Reed, Founder of Music Box – Inspiring Voices CIC, said:
“I can’t quite believe it’s been 10 years since I opened Music Box – Inspiring Voices to the world. Once known as Turn Up The Talent, founded by myself and my sister Cherie Gears, it has grown into an established community hub in Baildon, offering music and singing coaching, support and opportunities for people aged 2 to 99.
"I am so incredibly proud of what we do and everyone involved. We’ve built something really special together and I love them all so much. This concert will be a bundle of incredible chaos – just how we like it! Here’s to another 10 years.”
