St Margaret’s Church in Ilkley is inviting local community groups, charities, and schools to take part in the much-anticipated Ilkley Christmas Tree Festival 2025.
On Friday, 5 December, and Saturday, 6 December, a stunning array of Christmas trees, decorated by Ilkley’s local charities and schools will fill beautiful St Margaret’s Church on Queen’s Road.
In the weeks leading up to the festival, organisers will share their stories on social media – a great way to remind everyone of the positive impact these vital organisations have on our lives and on the lives of those we care about.
Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees will be supplied by Moss and Moor and styled to capture the essence of each organisation’s unique personality. And after the festival participants can take their tree home to decorate for Christmas.
Organiser Joanne Tomlinson said:
“St Margaret’s will be filled with stunning Christmas trees showcasing the work of many vital community groups and charities and our local schools in Ilkley and Addingham. It’s a great opportunity for visitors to get to know the many services which support our community and enjoy some Christmas cheer in our beautiful church.
"As well as browsing among the spectacular trees there will be a programme of live music across the two days including performances by local choirs, musicians and primary school children.
"Included in the festivities will be an array of freshly baked cakes and mince pies, sausage rolls, coffee, tea and juices will be on sale to tempt you to sit a while, chat with friends and enjoy the music and entertainment in this beautiful space."
If you would like your organisation to be involved please contact Joanne Tomlinson to reserve a tree for £37 (and yours to take home) please email Joanne at st.margarets.treefestival@gmail.com no later than Saturday 24 October 2025.
