Ilkley Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club marked the close of another successful year with a Christmas Lunch held at The Lister Arms in Ilkley.
The event was well attended despite the busy festive period, reflecting the continued strength and popularity of the club within the local defence community. Members gathered to recognise the importance of connection, mutual support, and camaraderie that the club provides throughout the year.
The club also expressed its thanks to the staff at The Lister Arms for their support and hospitality in hosting the event, which helped ensure the day ran smoothly.
Ilkley Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club is open to serving personnel, veterans, and members of the wider defence community, offering a welcoming, informal environment to reconnect and support one another.
The club meets on the last Saturday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm at The Lister Arms.
The club recently invited Kirklees Local TV to film at one of the meetings.
A spokesperson said:
"New members are always welcome. As the club’s ethos encourages: “Return to the tribe.”
"The club looks forward to continuing its work supporting veterans and the armed forces community into the new year."
