Ilkley Cricket Club is marking 175 years of cricketing history with a spectacular Gala Ball on Friday 28 November 2025 at the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley.
The evening will kick off at 7 :00pm and runs through to 11.30 pm, and will include a champagne reception, a three‑course dinner, dancing, entertainment and more.
The club is delighted to announce that the event will be hosted by Strictly Come Dancing winner and England cricketing legend, Mark Ramprakash. The Gala Ball is open to club members and non‑club members alike, in what promises to be one of the Ilkley community’s most celebratory events of the year.
Throughout the evening there will be a raffle and a live auction. Among the raffle prizes (so far) is a signed Yorkshire shirt by England’s Women’s star Lauren Winfield-Hill, while the auction contains a showpiece prize: a signed Test Match shirt from England’s white-ball captain, Harry Brook. These prizes show just how special the night is shaping up to be.
With a dress code of black tie (or smart for juniors), the evening is intended to blend elegance and celebration. Alongside a night of fine food, conversation and dancing, it’s also the night when Ilkley CC will present its 2025 Awards, and look back proudly over its 175 years of cricketing heritage.
Whether you’re a long–time supporter or just want to show support for your local community, this Gala Ball offers an extraordinary chance to celebrate one of Yorkshire’s oldest cricket clubs.
