Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group is inviting the community to come together for a relaxed and welcoming Coffee & Cake drop-in social on Saturday, 28 February, at Vitello Lounge, from 2:30pm.
The informal gathering offers a friendly space for LGBTQ+ people, allies and supporters to meet, chat and connect over coffee and something sweet. Whether you’re a long-time supporter of the group or simply curious to find out more, everyone is welcome to drop in, pull up a chair and enjoy good company in a safe and inclusive environment.
The Pride & Diversity Group has been building momentum in Ilkley through regular socials, community events and its annual Pride celebration. Events like the Coffee & Cake afternoon are an important part of that mission - creating visible, positive spaces where people can feel comfortable being themselves and forming new friendships.

A spokesperson for Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group said:
“Our Coffee & Cake afternoons are all about creating a relaxed, welcoming space where people can connect and feel part of something positive in Ilkley. Whether you’ve been involved for years or you’re just coming along for the first time, you’ll be met with a friendly face and a warm welcome.”
Looking ahead, excitement is already building for Ilkley Pride, taking place on 27 June. Organisers have recently announced that the sensational Marigold Addams will headline this year’s event with their Jane McDonald tribute, promising a show full of glamour, energy and unforgettable entertainment.

Tickets for Ilkley Pride will be on sale soon, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
For now, the group encourages anyone interested to come along next Saturday, enjoy a brew, and be part of Ilkley’s growing and vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
