Ilkley Town’s Over-55s take on the Over-60 England Veterans this Sunday, 7 June, kick-off 1pm.
No strangers to international action - with a recent brace of home fixtures against Republic of Ireland - it’s the first time Ilkley’s Vets have faced their home national side.
It’s a valuable opportunity for Ilkley’s men to play against quality opposition as they prepare for the National Cup which kicks off this September.
Ilkley’s veteran set-up has gone from strength to strength in recent years with the Club also putting out teams in Over-35s, Over-45s, and Over-60s. All age groups are welcoming new players – email football@ilkleytownafc.co.uk to find out more or join.
The match marks a bumper weekend of masters sport at Ben Rhydding Sports Club with a national men's Over-70s hockey tournament taking place from Friday to Sunday, also featuring players from England's masters teams.
Entry is free to all fixtures.
