Moorfield School will open its doors on Thursday to give Ilkley residents a chance to view its Turner Prize Inspired Art Exhibition!
Featuring an exciting collection of artwork bursting with inspiration, colour and creative energy created by children and staff, the exhibition takes inspiration from the themes, creativity and innovation showcased in the 2025 Turner Prize exhibition.
Local artist Helen Brayshaw and Nick Hockney, nephew of the legendary David Hockney, will officially open the art exhibition this Thursday 25 June, at 3:30pm.
A spokesperson for the school said:
“Come and immerse yourself in stunning artwork, meet our special guests in person, and raise a glass to the pure joy of creativity.
“We’d love as many Ilkley residents as possible to join us so we can give our visitors the warmest Moorfield welcome. This promises to be a wonderfully vibrant and unforgettable afternoon — don’t miss your chance to be part of the magic!”
