Emily Slater, the entrepreneur behind Ilkley’s renowned Luxe Beauty salon, has announced the launch of ROH, a new luxury day spa and wellness destination at Crescent Court in Ilkley.
Designed to offer an innovative approach to relaxation and self-care, ROH brings together luxury beauty and wellness, alongside a carefully selected drinks menu featuring premium wines and champagne.
The opening marks an exciting new chapter for Emily, who has spent the past 15 years building a loyal client base and refining the art of guest experience. Having opened her first salon at just 20 years old and a second at 27, she has now closed both Luxe Beauty locations to focus entirely on bringing her latest venture to life.

ROH has been created to challenge traditional ideas of what a spa experience should be. Rather than centring the experience around pools, saunas and steam rooms, the concept focuses on exceptional treatments, refined hospitality and thoughtfully curated experiences designed to help guests truly switch off.
Looking forward to the opening, Emily says:
"Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to clients and thinking about what luxury really means. For me, it isn’t about having access to more facilities. It’s about how a place makes you feel. It’s about exceptional service, beautiful design, incredible treatments, great food and drink, and having the space to properly relax.
“ROH is the place I always wished existed. Every detail has been considered to create an experience that feels effortless, personal and memorable.”
A key part of the ROH experience is its hospitality offering and guests will soon be able to enjoy bespoke breakfast and lunch menus created by acclaimed chef Michael O'Hare. This unique dining experience forms a central part of the ROH philosophy, encouraging guests to slow down, savour the moment and extend their time away from the demands of everyday life.

Emily believes the opening reflects changing consumer expectations around wellness and explains:
“People are increasingly looking for experiences that feel personal and intentional. They want quality, authenticity and genuine attention to detail. That’s the philosophy behind ROH.”
