West Yorkshire Police have released dramatic footage of a police chase that took place last week following a report of a burglary in the Ilkley area.
During the incident a car was stolen from a driveway in the early hours of Monday 26th January. The vehicle was pursued by specialist officers from the force’s Roads Policing Unit who were in the area.
They caught up with the vehicle in Baildon and gave chase. The car stopped in Shipley, where two male suspects were arrested and have subsequently been charged.
Police say the ‘outstanding team work’ from officers meant that the stolen vehicle was recovered within 30 minutes of the burglary and two suspects detained.
