The 141st Ilkley Open has enjoyed a record-breaking year, with more than 550 entries.
While the Lexus Ilkley Open attracts international attention each summer, the club's long-running Ilkley Open continues to be one of its biggest annual events, welcoming players of all ages and abilities from across the UK.
Now in its 141st year, the tournament welcomed hundreds of competitors, including a group of 64 players from the Adam Brown Academy in Scotland, who travelled to Ilkley as part of their annual summer tour.
Favourable weather throughout the week helped tournament organisers complete a record number of matches, making it one of the most successful events in the competition's history.
Kyle Brassington, Head Coach at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club and Tournament Director, said:
"It's fantastic to see the club buzzing with so many players throughout the week.
"Many players have been coming to this tournament for several years so it's nice to see their tennis progressing as they grow up.
"From under 8s to over 70s, this is a tournament for everyone.
"We even had three generations of the same family playing, the youngest of which is a member here at the club."
The tournament is regarded as one of the UK's most inclusive tennis events, with competitions spanning every age group from junior players to veterans.
More than 30 Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club members competed during the week, with several enjoying impressive results.
George Maden was crowned Boys' 9 & Under Doubles champion and also finished runner-up in the Boys' 9 & Under Singles.
Leo Hall and Hugo Asmussen reached the final of the Boys' 12 & Under Doubles, while Isabelle Egglestone claimed victory in the Girls' 14 & Under Singles.
Alice Brook lifted the Ladies' Doubles title, while Aanya Bhamra finished runner-up in the Girls' 11 & Under Singles. Leo Hall also enjoyed further success by reaching the final of the Boys' 11 & Under Singles.
With record participation, a packed schedule and strong performances from home players, organisers have hailed the 141st Ilkley Open as one of the most successful tournaments in its history, continuing a tradition that has welcomed generations of tennis players to the town.
