Ilkley Bandstand 2000 Trust has announced a Silver Jubilee Concert featuring the City of Bradford Brass Band on Thursday 16th July.
The concert at Christchurch on The Grove will celebrate 25 years of amazing community moments at Ilkley Bandstand, which has offered an eclectic mix of music from folk to jazz, rock to pop over the last quarter century - from big bands to solo performers. Not much music, the bandstand is a central meeting point in town for groups such as Little Free Ilkley.
A spokesperson said:
“Join us in person for the Ilkley Bandstand Silver Jubilee Celebrations! It's a fantastic chance to enjoy great music, soak up the vibes, and celebrate 25 years of amazing community moments.
“Don't miss out on this fun-filled evening of celebration and music – see you there!”
The event is supported by both Ilkley Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Ilkley Wharfedale. Both Rotary Clubs thank the sponsors that generously support Ilkley Bandstand.
The Silver Jubilee bash is between 7pm and 10pm on 16th July and tickets are £15, available from https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ilkley-bandstand-silver-jubilee-celebrations-tickets-1991065731200
