Former England manager Sir Gareth Southgate is among a host of sporting stars set to tee off in Ilkley next month.
The Yorkshire Invitational will return to Ilkley Golf Club on 16th and 17th September, bringing together professional golfers, celebrities and amateur players.
This year's event will be hosted by European golf legend Colin Montgomerie OBE, who spent a significant part of his childhood at Ilkley Golf Club and is now an honorary life member.
Montgomerie won 31 times on the European Tour and claimed the Order of Merit a record eight times, as well as representing Europe in eight Ryder Cups and captaining the side to victory at Celtic Manor in 2010.
The sporting line-up announced so far also includes former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate, golfing great Dame Laura Davies and former New Zealand rugby star Zinzan Brooke, with more names still to be announced.
The Yorkshire Invitational was first staged at Ilkley Golf Club in 2020, with former Masters champion Ian Woosnam as host.
Previous hosts have since included Rich Beem, Michael Campbell, Thomas Bjørn and Mark James, while last year's Celeb-Am featured the likes of Robbie Fowler, Steve Harmison, Lee Sharpe and Gordon Strachan.
This year's two-day programme will include a Pro-Am and Celebrity-Am on Wednesday 16th September, followed by the Tournament Pro-Am on Thursday 17th September.
Players will also have the chance to take part in hole-in-one, nearest-the-pin and longest-drive competitions, while the event will feature food and drink, live entertainment, Q&A sessions and prize presentations.
It was great to welcome Sir Gareth Southgate to #IlkleyGolfClub where he was hosted by the team at @cobragolf & @PUMAGolf for a state-of-the-art club fitting, before enjoying a round of golf with fellow invited guests. We look forward to welcoming him again soon. pic.twitter.com/xniHUMCtLp
