Thomas Hardy's Irish Bar to open in Ilkley

Thomas Hardy's Ilkley will open on Friday 26 June

A new Irish bar will open in Ilkley later this month in the former Yard premises.

Thomas Hardy’s Irish Bar, who already have a site in Horsforth, have announced they are currently refurbishing the premises to the rear of Brook Street and will open on Friday 26 June.

One main change will be using the front entrance, as appose to the side door, and the addition of a small stage area for live entertainment. There will be a pool room, an area with booth seating, and TV screens for live sport.

The main bar will stock Irish brands Guinness, Caffrey's and Murphy's, the upstairs bar will concentrate on spritz and lager [and Guinness].

They are also recruiting for new staff members, posting on Facebook:

"We are looking for an incredible team to help us bring this exciting new venture to life! Whether you are an experienced pro or just have the right energy and a massive work ethic, we want to hear from you."

They are looking for hard working people, who are fun, positive, and enthusiastic, and are flexible and available to work late-night Friday and Saturday shift. Interested people should email their CVs to Thomashardysilkley@gmail.com.
