The Clarke Foley Community Hub is joining the rest of Ilkley to highlight that May has been officially designated as ‘Wellbeing Month’ in Ilkley.
Throughout the month, the Hub will host a series of high-profile events designed to promote health, connection, and community spirit, all made possible through a headline sponsorship by Radfield Home Care (Ilkley & North Leeds).
The main event is to be held on the 23 May from 11am-2pm for the 3rd Annual Health and Wellbeing Festival. Building on the success of previous years, the festival will bring together local practitioners, health experts, and community groups to offer advice, demonstrations, and support for residents of all ages.
In addition to modern wellness, the Hub will pay tribute to the town’s heritage with a special VE Day Tea Dance. This nostalgic afternoon of music and movement is kindly sponsored by Home Instead, ensuring that the spirit of community and celebration remains at the heart of the Hub’s mission.
Rosie Reay, Manager of the Clarke Foley Community Hub, expressed her gratitude for the local support:
"We are so incredibly grateful to Radfield Home Care for sponsoring our Wellbeing Month. Their commitment to Ilkley and North Leeds aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a welcoming space for all. Having their support, and the sponsorship from Home Instead for our Tea Dance—allows us to dream bigger and reach more people than ever before."
Nathan Evans, Business Development Manager of Radfield Home Care, added:
"Supporting wellbeing is at the core of what we do every day. We are honored to partner with Clarke Foley to ensure that the residents of Ilkley have access to events that keep them connected, active, and healthy."
The Health and Wellbeing Month is an initiative by Ilkley BID and throughout May will highlight businesses that help people feel their best—from beauty salons, hairdressers, and opticians to physiotherapists, coaches, and hobby retailers. Further details will be on the Discover Ilkley website.
