Ilkley Creative Arts & Culture Month launches across the town

A month-long celebration of art, music and culture is taking place across Ilkley throughout September.

Ilkley BID has launched Ilkley Creative Arts & Culture Month, bringing together local businesses, venues and organisations involved in the town’s creative and cultural scene.

The campaign is running throughout September 2026 and aims to encourage residents and visitors to discover more of the creative activities and experiences available in Ilkley.

The programme includes exhibitions, film, theatre, live music, workshops, competitions, special experiences and offers.

A number of local organisations and businesses are taking part, including Ilkley Manor House, Ilkley Playhouse, The Art Shops, Fusion Chocolate UK, Ilkley Green Room, Salt Pots of Ilkley, Weaverbird Workshop, Outside The Box Cafe, Ilkley Literature Festival and Ilkley Cinema.

Other participating businesses include The Grove Bookshop, Duttons for Buttons, Tinker Gallery, palette gallery and Clarendon Fine Art.

Ilkley BID says the campaign forms part of its wider work to support local businesses, promote Ilkley as a destination and encourage people to explore the town.

The campaign also includes activities such as creative competitions and special offers, giving people the opportunity to try something new or discover local artists and businesses.

Residents and visitors are being encouraged to support the participating businesses and organisations throughout September and share details of the campaign with others.
