Ilkley garden designer, Melissa Morton, is celebrating after picking up 'Best in Show' for a second year at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show which started today.
The event is being held at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre from Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th April, with a vibrant celebration of the new gardening season. Across the four days organisers will welcome thousands of visitors from across North and West Yorkshire.
Ilkley based Melissa Morton's garden design, The Breathing Space, had earned her 'Best in Show' for a second year and she told Your Ilkley Radio:
"It's all about wellbeing and being in a restorative retreat, and how we can maximum our outdoor spaces."
Melissa, who loves the Scandinavian style, added:
"Less is more - simplicity, choosing the right, hard working materials and making them work in the space available."
