David Wilson Homes, the developers at Manor Park in Burley-in-Wharfedale, has issued an update and says work is still scheduled to be completed end of March/Early April.
The Traffic Management was scheduled to be relocated to the Southern side of the works at the weekend and will remain in this location for the next 6 weeks.
Kevin Hoyland, Project Manager, said:
"The Northern side of the roundabout works are now practically complete, outstanding works are planting, lighting columns, final surfacing and white lining. Traffic will be running over the realigned carriageway as we complete the Southern side, we will install signage warning of the change of road layout when the TM is relocated.
"The YW diversion has been confirmed for 17/02/25. The footway and carriageway construction on the Southern side will continue in tandem with the diversion. We are also installing a new FW rising main, gullies and ducting to illuminate the signage to the roundabout.
"The re opening of Kex Gill has had a positive impact on waiting times at the lights.
"The Speed camera is booked to be reinstalled and re energized at the end of April, this is in line with the Safety assessment required once the works are fully completed.
"The works are currently still on programme to be completed by the end of March/Early April.
"May I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support, please be assured that we are carrying out the works as diligently and safely as possible to reach our projected completion date."
