New aesthetics clinic set to open in Ilkley

Amy Wilson is set to open her AW Aesthetics clinic.

AW Aesthetics are preparing to open its doors to a new clinic on Cowpasture Road as her business continues to grow.

Amy Wilson, a registered nurse with 16 years of experience, founded AW Aesthetics in 2018 and has spent the past three years operating from Beauty in Bloom on Cowpasture Road.

The new clinic is expected to open in mid-September and will feature three dedicated treatment rooms, offering a range of medical-grade facial and body treatments.

Amy holds a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and is a qualified independent prescriber.

She has worked in medical aesthetics for eight years, focusing on skin health and treatments designed to produce subtle, natural-looking results.

She said the decision to open her own clinic came as the business expanded.

Amy said:

“As the business continued to grow, I found myself adding more equipment, treatments and services.

“I knew I needed a larger space and wanted the opportunity to build a team of skincare specialists around me.

"It was time to take the plunge and open my own clinic."

The new premises are located next door to Beauty in Bloom, in a building which was previously occupied by a pharmacy.

One of the new treatments being introduced at the clinic is NeoGen Plasma, an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment which is sometimes described as a “surgical-free facelift”.

The clinic will be the only one in Ilkley and within a 10-mile radius offering the treatment.

The new clinic will also welcome Sophie Walker, a specialist in advanced skincare, to the AW Aesthetics team.

Amy said her approach focuses on enhancing rather than dramatically changing a person's appearance.

“I specialise in skin health and subtle treatments that make my patients look and feel better without anyone knowing they have had any obvious procedures,”.

The new clinic will be based on Cowpasture Road in Ilkley and is expected to open later this month.
