A long-established Skipton optician has announced a change in ownership alongside the launch of a new practice in Ilkley.
Exley Optician, which describes itself as Skipton’s longest-established optician on Otley Street, has announced that Dr Buckingham has retired and the business has been taken over by Taz and Kali.
The business has also launched “Exleys in Ilkley”, with the new practice operating alongside Buckingham Opticians.
The new branch is located on 5 Church Street in Ilkley.

The announcement was made on social media, with the business welcoming customers to its new Ilkley practice for eye examinations and frame choosing.
Regular updates about the Ilkley practice are expected to be shared by the business.
The new Ilkley practice is advertising both NHS and private eye tests, as well as a range of eyewear available outside of prescriptions.
The business said it is looking forward to welcoming customers to the new practice.
