Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has been reappointed as shadow minster for farming and rural affairs.
Jobs on the opposition front benches have been dished out this week by new Conservative party leader Kemi Badenoch, following her appointment at the weekend.
Mr Moore served as a minister at Defra in the last few months of the previous administration until July’s general election when Labour came to power - and continued that role in the shadow government under Rishi Sunak when Parliament returned.
Confirming his reappointment as a shadow minister on Tuesday evening, Robbie Moore MP said: “Having spent my whole life in the sector, I am delighted to be reappointed Shadow Farming & Rural Affairs Minister working with Victoria Atkins as our new Shadow Environment Secretary.
“We will work tirelessly holding this Labour government to account, backing our farmers every step of the way.”
