Experienced local music tutor, musician, writer and producer Ben Siddall has announced the launch of several new music courses and a community ensemble at All Saints Church, Ilkley.
Starting in mid-September, these courses will run for 10 weeks and offer a range of opportunities for aspiring musicians, both beginners and more experienced players.
Rock and Pop Ensemble: Starting Friday 20 September, for those looking to join a band and play popular music, the Ilkley Rock and Pop Ensemble is the perfect fit. This inclusive group will focus on classic rock, pop, and folk songs, with a focus on fun and community.
Songwriting Course: Starting Monday 23 September, aspiring songwriters can learn the art and craft of songwriting in this comprehensive course. From finding inspiration to chord progressions to creating memorable melodies and lyrics, this course will equip participants with the essential tools to write their own songs.
Beginner Guitar and Ukulele Courses: Starting Wednesday 18 September, whether you're new to guitar or ukulele, these beginner courses will provide a solid foundation in essential techniques, chords, and strumming patterns. Learn to play your favourite songs and build your confidence as a musician.
