The Met Office has upgraded its weather warning for strong winds, which are expected later this week, to amber.
Storm Éowyn is set to bring gusts of up to 70mph in some areas this Friday (24th January).
The weather warning is in place from 6am until 9pm.
And the Met Office has warned residents to expect “widespread disruption.”
