A team from Ilkley-headquartered estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley has taken on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for a local children’s charity.
The team joined forces with iamproperty, Kempston Parkes Chartered Surveyors and Mortgage Advice Bureau for the challenge on Thursday 17th September.
Together, they tackled the 24-mile route across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough to raise funds for The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.
The challenge includes more than 1,500 metres of ascent and saw the group battle difficult conditions as they made their way around the three peaks.
The Principle Trust, which is based in Skipton, provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged, disabled and poorly children and their families across Yorkshire.

“We worked with the charity last year and saw first-hand what a difference their work can make to children and families.
"The event was such a success that we were keen to build on that momentum and do something even bigger this year.
"It’s a tough challenge but knowing every step the team took was helping raise money to support children and families across Yorkshire facing adversity kept morale high.”

Founded in 2011, the charity aims to give families the opportunity to escape their everyday circumstances and enjoy valuable time together.
Dacre, Son & Hartley has its headquarters in Ilkley and a network of offices across North and West Yorkshire.
The challenge formed part of the team’s support for The Principle Trust and its work with families across the region.
