Organisers of the Ilkley Cycle Races are appealing for local volunteers to help plan and deliver one of the town's biggest annual sporting events.
The races see Ilkley town centre transformed into a cycling circuit for one evening each summer, with hundreds of riders competing in front of thousands of spectators.
Featuring both elite and amateur cyclists, the event has become a popular fixture in Ilkley's calendar, attracting visitors and supporting businesses in the town centre.
The organising team is now looking to recruit more volunteers to help deliver future events and play a part in shaping the races.
The event is currently organised by Tom Harris, with support from Ilkley Cycling Club Chair Martin Peace and backing from Ilkley Cycling Club.
Organisers hope to establish a wider team to share responsibilities and help secure the event's future.
They have stressed that volunteers do not need to be cycling experts to get involved, with opportunities available for people from a range of backgrounds and with different skills.
Anyone interested in joining the organising team or finding out more about the available roles can contact organiser@ilkleycycleraces.co.uk.
