Wharfedale health and wellness clinic Jacqui Mac Medispa has announced the opening of a new branch in Ilkley.
Occupying a prime location on The Grove, the venture is the first standalone, CQC registered medical aesthetics, health and wellness clinic in Ilkley.
The 700 sq ft premises has been extensively refurbished, incorporating medical grade equipment and dedicated treatment suites to provide state-of-the-art health, wellness and aesthetics treatments including LED light therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, skin treatments, weight loss, laser treatment and injectables.
Incorporating an electronic entry system, three treatment rooms, a stylish, discreet waiting room at the rear and a second waiting area overlooking The Grove, the new, appointment-only clinic will be personally managed by local business owner Jackie McGarry, who opened her first clinic in Silsden in 2018.
Drawing on two decades of experience as a registered nurse and 15 years’ experience in the health and wellbeing sector, Jackie’s latest venture will welcome new clients, as well as serving an established client base across the Aire and Wharfe Valleys.
Jackie, who grew up in Ilkley and is a well-known and respected practitioner, was recently hailed ‘Best Boss’ at this year’s Ilkley Business Awards.
Joining her at the new clinic will be registered nurses Holly Nicholson and Melissa Robinson, Skin Therapist Ellie Mathieson, Business Development Manager Giuliano Nocera and Personal Assistant Victoria Lupton.
Ms. McGarry is marking the new venture by becoming a corporate patron of leading children’s charity The Principle Trust, which provides respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse. The Trust was established in 2011 by Ilkley businessman Mike Davies, MBE and has provided respite breaks for more than 5000 children from the Yorkshire region.

Founder of The Principle Trust Mike Davies, MBE added:
"We welcome Jacqui Mac Medispa as a patron and wish Jackie and her team every success in their new venture; thanks to the generosity of Yorkshire businesses, The Trust helps some of the region’s most disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and create valuable, happy memories."
